Sharon Woodring was born and raised in Kentucky. While attending college at Abilene Christian University she took classes in many forms of art, including design, drawing, and painting. Sharon had several pieces shown in student art shows, won 3rd place in the Big Country Art Association art show in 1997, and had 2 drawings published in the Shinnery Review, one of which won first place in the publication‘s art contest.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Sharon began painting murals. In the spring of 2008, she made costumes for one of the plays at Phoenix Charter School‘s Renaissance Faire. During the 2008-2009 school year, she co-taught the Middle and High School Theatre classes, working specifically with the production and business students. In 2009, she also made the costumes for all the plays at the 2nd Annual Phoenix Renaissance Faire.
